Chasse-Spleen…This magical name is probably the result of a discussion back in 1860, between Rosa Ferriere, the Mistress of the place and her neighbour, Odilon Redon, a renowned symbolist painter. He was the autor of the illustrations for Charles Baudelaire's, Les Fleurs du Mal, in which it is now known he copyrighted the word Spleen. Visits by RDV
